I got a L even though the size chart said I should get a M. The legs are great! They don't make it look like a busted can of biscuits like most do. They are shorter so they don't show through the slit on my bridesmaid dress. The waist is EXTREMELY REINFORCED. There is a double panel inside and you will not see your belly button through it like you do with a lot of shapewear. When I say I took almost 10 mins to put it on, I'm not exaggerating. I was ridiculously out of breath. To be fair, I'm also out of shape. I was scared for my hips, lol! Once I got it past by hips/booty, it went the rest of the way great. It goes all the way to where my bra will sit without a gap between. There is a tiny bit of boning in the top lace part to keep it from rolling. I'd say it does the trick. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because there is not a P hole. There is no way in HECK I can get these up and down several times throughout the reception to use the girl's room. Like... They're super easy to peel off. Down in less than 10 secs, but the struggle to put them on cannot be done in a stall of a rest room. Idk if I will cut a hole and sew the edges to reinforce or if I won't be able to use them. Def keeping whether I wear them for this wedding or not. I'd say these are not for beginners who will whine that they are tight. These are for the Beauty Is Pain girls. Although once they are on, I didn't feel restricted or unable to breathe. They're honestly one of the best pairs (at doing what they were made for, hold you in!) I've ever bought and I have had LOTS of shapewear. I'm very picky about how they sit, whether they roll, if the BB shows, if a zipper shows etc... I'm bummed about the c rotch area, it's the only negative besides the workout putting them on over all though, THEY DO WORK
